Our food pantry services clients located in San Antonio, Castroville, Lytle, Devine, LaCoste, Hondo, Dunley, and Lytle areas.  At times other food pantries will ask us to service their client from other surrounding cities.  Last year we serviced 1520 families; over 6,000 individuals.

Many clubs, organizations and churches request help from our food pantry especially during the holiday season.  During the holidays we provide turkeys and food boxes to our clients.

Hands of Mercy Extended food pantry operates under a 501 C (3) status and all gifts and donations are tax deductable.  All funds received are designated  for food product as no salaries are paid.  The 1800 square foot building we operate from presently is provided at no cost. Volunteers provide all services.  Being a food pantry we cannot sell food.  We must rely on donations to operate our pantry.

Any monies or food product you donate to us will be appreciated and will help many families.  Many families we help actually volunteer at our pantry when they are “back on their feet again.”

Receipts for donations are mailed in January unless otherwise requested.  All checks should be made to: Hands of Mercy Extended Food Pantry and mailed to 4635 Grosenbacher Road, San Antonio, Texas 78245. Or click the link on the right side of the site to make a PayPal donation. If you have any questions you may contact our founder/director, Dr. Steve Newton @ 210-787-8102
